More than 25 years of customer service, business development and marketing experience in cooperation with internationally leading companies combined with my passion for the hotel industry. The result is my consultancy for Customer Delight &Brita Stiegler.

 

I enjoy hotel life, people, good hosts, and the nice things in life. As a child at my parents’ hotel I experienced early on how important practised hospitality is. Naturally, I started my professional career by undergoing vocational training at the Steigenberger Akademie for Hotel Management. This is where we were sworn in to seeing each person as a guest and to bringing the benefit for your counterpart into focus, be it colleagues or hotel guests. This attitude has shaped my professional career significantly.

 

With the aim of going into the hotel industry, I finished my Business Administration studies. Back in practise, I worked in gastronomy marketing, initially with Schöller, then with The Coca-Cola Company. Over more than 20 years with The Coca-Cola Company, I learned many things from scratch. Marketing, customer service and business development – in gastronomy as well as retail. I was responsible on a global level for customers such as McDonald’s and Shell as well as business development for the NESTEA brand.

 

My work was always targeted at harmonising my customers’ needs with the respective brand promise and to create added value for all stakeholders. Since my standard is delivering the best service and always being up-to-date, continued and further education is a matter of course for me.

 

I spent more than 25 years travelling, flying to 66 countries, and sleeping in nearly 3,000 hotel beds. During that time, I experienced good service frequently, but also suboptimal service on occasion. This trained my eye for service offers that are oriented to guest and customer benefit.
