Declaration regarding the duty to inform

(Privacy policy)

The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (GDPR, Austrian TKG 2003). This data protection information serves to inform you about the most important aspects of data processing in the context of our website.

When you visit our website, your IP address, start and end of the session will be recorded for the duration of the respective session. This is due to technical reasons and therefore constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) f. GDPR. Unless otherwise regulated below, we will not process this data.

Contacting us

If you contact us via the form on the website or via e-mail, your data will be stored for six months for the purpose of processing your enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We will not disclose this data without your consent.

Cookies

Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device through the browser. They cause no harm.

We use cookies to make our offer user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. They enable us to recognise your browser the next time you visit us.

If you prefer this not to happen, you can set up your browser so that it informs you about the placement of any cookies and you can decide to allow or deny it on an individual basis.

If you disable cookies, the functionality of our website may be limited.

Web analysis

Our website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics by US-American company Google Inc. For this purpose cookies are used which enable an analysis of website use by users. The information generated is transferred to the provider’s server and stored there. You can prevent this by setting your browser to prevent the storage of any cookies.

We have concluded a corresponding contract with Google Inc. for commissioned data processing. Your IP address is recorded, but immediately pseudonymised [e.g. by deleting the last 8 bits]. This means that only an approximate localisation is possible.

The relationship with Google Inc. is based on the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework, which regulates the correct and secure transfer of personal data. You can find further information at https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI.

Data processing is based on the legal provisions of Art. 96 (3) Austrian TKG and Art, 6 (1) a. (consent) and/or f. (legitimate interest) GDPR. Our concern in terms of the GDPR (legitimate interest) is the improvement of our offer and our web presence. Since the privacy of our users is important to us, user data is pseudonymised. User data is stored for a period of 14 months.
