Combining more than 25 years of customer service, business development, marketing, leadership and my passion for the hotel industry, I founded Consulting for Customer Delight &Brita Stiegler.
I enjoy hotel life, people, good hosts, and the nice things in life. As a child at my parents’ hotel I experienced early on how important practised hospitality is. Undergoing vocational training at the Steigenberger academy for hotel management, we were sworn to seeing each person as a guest, be they hotel guests or colleagues. I have adopted this attitude.
My professional career has taken me from hospitality marketing at Schöller to marketing, customer service and business development at The Coca-Cola Company. I was globally responsible for clients such as McDonald’s and Shell in leadership positions and guided teams across various continents.
I love to travel and have been to approximately 70 countries with stays in almost 3,000 hotels. Over the years I have experienced a great deal of hospitality, which has been reflected in sometimes good, and sometimes less good service. This is why I know what constitutes a guest- and customer-orientated service portfolio. My leadership responsibilities have sharpened my eye for the needs, well-being and potential of my teams. “I am here to make you sparkle” was a statement by one of my bosses – this had a profound impact on me.
Convinced by the principles of Positive Psychology, I help people and companies in service-orientated industries to achieve Customer Delight. All with a positive attitude, appreciative, solution-oriented and with a touch of humour.
